As part of the Faculty Exchange Program, Assam down town University had the privilege of hosting Dr. Douglas Law Sie Nguong, Associate Professor, Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, INTI International University, Malaysia. During his visit, Dr. Douglas engaged in an interactive session with postgraduate students from the Faculty of Science, where he shared valuable insights into global research trends, career opportunities, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Dr. Douglas also served as a judge for the Science Day competition, organized by Prof. L. N. Kakati, where students presented their innovative scientific projects. He assessed the projects based on originality, scientific accuracy, feasibility, and real-world impact, actively engaging with participants by asking insightful questions and providing constructive feedback on their methodologies.

Additionally, Dr. Douglas emphasized the importance of leveraging industry partnerships to enhance research impact, highlighting the need for practical exposure, networking, and structured agreements to foster meaningful collaborations. His visit provided students with a global perspective on research and innovation, encouraging them to explore new frontiers in science.
