Students will learn the fundamentals, including syntax, data types, functions, objects, arrays, and the Document Object Model (DOM), before progressing to advanced topics like regular expressions and client-side scripting techniques. The course also explores server-side JavaScript with Node.js, focusing on modules, filesystem I/O, networking, and npm for package management. Additionally, students will work with client-side frameworks, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, and modern technologies such as WebAssembly and WebGL.
