Business Analytics is a 40-hour course that aims at introducing students to the tools and techniques of data visualization. This is an exercise-based course that covers a deep understanding of Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and Powerpoint presentations. Through this course, students will learn how to interpret, visualize and present data through graphs, pivot tables, reports, and dashboards. It will also incorporate the concept of data organization and publishing of information.
Human Resource Management is a 40-hour course designed for BBA majors to acquaint them with the basic concepts and frameworks that govern the functioning of a productive human resource department. Each Unit/ Module will be assessed based on class participation, initiative during situational case studies, class assignments, and final examination. This course highlights the integration of talent acquisition and headhunting in the changing roles of HR. It also looks at training, team development, and compensating performance. Through situational case studies, the course also highlights the role of HRM in tackling ethical and legal matters. This subject of HRM further takes a look at the emerging trends in the field and the future of this position with changing profiles and the impact of COVID-19.
E-Commerce (Theory) is a 20-hour theory-based program, which aims at introducing students to the foundational concepts and business modes of E-Commerce. The curriculum incorporates an understanding of concepts such as digital marketing and promotional strategies through social media. The course also sheds light on how the advent of Digital Currency and E-Payment Systems has changed the way payments are accepted. With the emergence of cybercrimes and legal obligations that a company is subjected to, the course covers the need and mechanisms to keep private information secure and the ethical and legal considerations that should be incorporated while participating in commercial activities on the internet.
Use a variety of business analytics techniques, skills and knowledge to support new or improved innovative business processes. Develop and document business processes and business models according to established business analytics practices, timelines and project goals. Develop strategies to bridge gaps between requirements and existing systems using appropriate business analytics techniques and documentation to support change to a business system. Assess solutions to business improvements using established benchmarks and evidence-based decision-making techniques. Corporate Governance and Ethics is a 40-hour program, which aims at introducing the students to the workings of corporate governance and the role that ethics plays in all of this. The module incorporates Indian and international frameworks of governance and their respective failures. It also highlights the development of whistle blowing in a country like India and social responsibilities that corporations must inculcate in their policy work. This course consists of various national and international case studies, which emphasize on various ethical issues such as sexual harassment, lobbying, investment fraud and corruption.
Statistics 2 is a 40 hour course aimed at introducing students to clear data thinking in business. It uses examples that are relevant to their day to day work to teach students statistical processes such as regression, ANOVA and correlation to analyze data effectively and further infer conclusions from them.

SME Management is a 20- hour course aimed at introducing students to the functioning of small and medium sized businesses. The course sheds light upon how through their support, laws and policy frameworks, institutions influence the operation of these businesses.
This course is designed to help students identify the knowledge and skills required for obtaining and keeping employment. Various Training sessions on Employability related communication will uplift the students’ performance during their group discussions and Personal Interviews.
A 20-hour course designed for BBA majors to learn how to deal with common complex, difficult and unpleasant workplace situations. Over 13 classes, students will learn how to use tools to navigate situations such as asking for a promotion, handling disagreements and competition, giving others feedback, and dealing with sexual and other forms of harassment. They will improve their communication skills by learning to use empathy and nonverbal cues during difficult conversations. They will practice framing messages such as an elevator pitch for introductions, a script for asking for a raise or promotion, and models for communicating constructive feedback. This course will help students familiarize themselves with industry-standard practices as well as relevant legal frameworks so they can work collaboratively when managing workplace conflict and advocating for themselves.
A 20-hour course designed for BBA majors to think more critically about art and literature and be appreciative of aesthetic beauty. This Unit/ Module incorporates the formulation of opinions on art and literature. This Unit/ Module will be assessed based on class participation, group discussions, debate rebuttals, and self-reflection. Through this course, the students will be pushed to think about their likes and dislikes and how it is different or the same in terms of the preferences of the larger community. This course will also assess the student’s ability to articulate and summarize thoughts, and their ability to sell a product. It will incorporate a Unit/ Module that educates them about the practice of art and literature.

This course aims to expand the student’s toolkit for business research. Each module aims at answering questions related to research and factors that make it compelling. The course also incorporates data collection methods, ethical considerations in research and various research methods like sampling, lab experiments, questionnaires, and so on.
Design Thinking incorporates the key stages that lead to the creation of a product. It aims at instilling a consumer centric approach amongst the students through values of research, empathy and problem creation. The course outlines the entire process of prototyping and further testing a product. Moreover, the curriculum focuses on the ‘how’s’ of communication and storyboarding of an entire design thinking journey.
Basics of Programming is a 20 hour course, which aims at teaching students data analysis through R programming. It consists of data cleaning, mining, presentation of data and the application of such concepts in a simulation.
Business and Public Policy is a 20 hour course, which emphasizes on the importance of public policy and policy documenting in business. The course incorporates extensive policy changing frameworks such as Kingdon’s and Punctuated equilibrium framework. The curriculum also highlights the various case studies of unethical policy making practices, Insolvency Code and bureaucratic practices in business.
A 20-hour course for BBA students to understand the importance of summarizing and building a compelling narrative. Students will learn how to determine the key ideas in a presentation, document, or communication and articulate them in a condensed and efficient manner, both orally and in writing. They will learn how to tell compelling stories which evoke a sense of relatability, create context and highlight the purpose or need. This course will enable students to communicate more effectively either by succinctly conveying an idea or by building a strategic narrative for their audience.
The module aims to provide an overview of the relevant theories, tools and techniques in corporate, competitive and international business strategy focusing on strategic analyses, strategy formulation, strategic decision-making and choices and strategy implementation. You will be encouraged to analyze and think critically as well as apply some of the introduced concepts and tools.
Visual thinking is a key element to a series of skills such as problem solving, creative thinking, big picture thinking and flows into a number of the faculties of the brain. One of the goals is to encourage students to observe independently and to back up their comments with evidence. With the help of mapping, such as concept maps, students will be able to see the big picture. Concept maps help piece information together based on meaningful connections. The primary objective of this module is to examine and explore the role and importance of digital marketing in today’s rapidly changing business environment. It also focuses on how digital marketing can be utilized by organizations and how its effectiveness can be measured.
This workshop provides a background on the functioning of businesses in rural India. It uses Prahalad’s bottom of the pyramid approach to help students understand the importance of integrating the tier 4 in businesses. Furthermore, the workshop also teaches students how to devise policies through which employability can be increased in the rural sector.
