Welcome to Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science of Assam down town University is the centre of excellence in Pharmaceutical Education and Research of Northeast India. It is currently offering courses viz. D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology) and PhD program. All the programs offered by Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science of AdtU are approved by the PCI, New Delhi. The Faculty is equipped with sophisticated laboratories, advanced instrument facilities and digital class rooms etc. The entire academic and research activities are carried out under the supervision of experienced faculty members. The Faculty of Study has been maintaining a record of 100% placement since the inception.

Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Assam down town University (AdtU). As an integral component of the University, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is dedicated to cultivating young healthcare professionals who are poised to tackle future challenges while upholding the values, culture, and ethics essential for societal prosperity. In its fourteen years of existence, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science has evolved into a mature and technically proficient academic hub, carving a distinctive niche in academia. Timely and advanced research initiatives with currently changing educational landscape and propelling the institution to new heights. The students of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science benefit from a dynamic mix of experienced, and enthusiastic faculty members. Beyond delivering a comprehensive education, our faculty ensures that students are nurtured into confident individuals capable of tackling challenges in both personal and professional spheres. Digital classrooms, well-equipped laboratories with relevant and sophisticated instruments, robust infrastructure, 100% placement opportunities, and guidance from qualified and experienced faculty members collectively position the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science as a leading Pharmacy institute of North East India.

Continuing to build upon its rich history and tradition of excellence, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science offers quality diploma (D.Pharm), undergraduate (B.Pharm), and postgraduate (M.Pharm in Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics) and PhD degree programs. These programs provide students with the requisite education and skills, complemented by excellent infrastructure and resources, to thrive in their careers in Pharmacy. Our strong industry ties significantly contribute to enhancing the technical and personal skills of our students, leading to successful placements. Many of our alumni are currently serving as responsible professionals in various sectors in India and abroad. Our facilities, including Sophisticated Instrumentation Facilities, the Centre of Research on Ethnomedicine, and the Centre of Excellence in Research, along with CCSEA approved animal House facilities, empower students, faculty members, PhD scholars, and researchers to pursue advanced studies.
