The Faculty of Science was established in the year 2017 bringing together programs from Basic and Applied Sciences based on students’ interest and societal needs. Since then it has been offering undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD degrees in relevant disciplines. The Faculty of Science continuously strive for excellence in teaching and learning. All programs offered by the Faculty comply with National Education Policy 2020. The curriculum offered not only focuses on core domain specific courses but also courses such as VAC, SAC & that will help in preparing the students for the industry demand and highlighted with enhanced skills. The key feature of the Faculty has been excellence in research and innovation that can be seen through the extramural funds received over the last few years from the Department of Biotechnology & Department of Science and Technology along with high quality research publications and patents published and granted.
