His Excellency, the Honourable Governor of Assam and Visitor to Assam down town University, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, was visited by a delegation from the University, comprising Prof N.C. Talukdar, Vice Chancellor; Ms. Gariasi Dutta, Resident Trustee; Dr. Ashim Barman, Registrar; and Dr. Mahendra Modi Executive Dean. The interaction took place in a warm and respectful setting, reflecting the University’s deep appreciation for His Excellency’s visionary leadership and continued support.

The primary objective of the visit was to apprise His Excellency of the University’s recent milestones, academic advancements, and key institutional initiatives, particularly those aimed at fostering community development and social impact. The delegation highlighted AdtU’s commitment to inclusive education, innovation, and outreach activities that contribute meaningfully to the larger goals of national progress. 

On this occasion, a formal invitation was also extended to His Excellency to kindly grace the upcoming Convocation Ceremony of Assam down town University.
