Prof. Bandana Dutta was a faculty of Cotton College, Guwahati for 35 years and retired as the HOD of the Department of Anthropology. She did MA in Social Anthropology from Cotton College and then obtained Diploma at the School of Oriental and African Studies from London University. She is an approved artist of Modern and devotional songs in All India Radio, Guwahati and Doordarshan Kendra. She is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Guwahati and also the founder President of INCA in Guwahati
