The Faculty of Computer Technology (FoCT) at Assam down town University (AdtU) is established in 2023 with a focus on the long-felt local and regional needs in this area of the nation. The goal is to encourage and educate numerous young minds who wished to continue technical and computer education and become a part of the nation's technological driving force. Before the establishment, the courses were under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET). Since that time, the FoCT has developed to fulfill this rising need while adhering to the mandate and regulations of the regulatory and regulating organizations of the Government of India. Six programs, Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Computer Application on Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, Master of Computer Application on Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with IBM and B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and Business Systems with TCS are available in the FoCT. Students from various regions of India and abroad are enrolled in the faculty. The FoCT of ADTU aspires to be one of the faculties for scientific and technological academics because of its excellent academic and research facilities. To give students the greatest technical education possible, the FoCT has partnerships with leading academic and research institutions across the world and focuses on the emerging areas of computer technology such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cyber Security, Data Science, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, etc. Deserving students can apply for scholarships.
