On December 2, 2024, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture 1st Year students from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Technology, in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council, ventured on an exposure visit to Fishwaale, Jagiroad —India’s first e-Fish market by Aqua Blue Global.

This unique visit provided students with in-depth insights into modern aquaculture practices and fish farming processes. They learned about Fishwaale's innovative approach to sustainable fishery, supported by 13 input hubs across Assam, which provide quality seeds, feed, and medicines to farmers at fair prices. The inspiring journey of Raja Qul Islam, Founder & CEO, further motivated students to explore careers in the sector.

The guided tour showcased advanced infrastructure, including water filtration systems, aeration techniques, and environmental monitoring, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in aquaculture.

The visit was a truly enriching experience, broadening students' horizons and opening pathways for future opportunities in the fishery industry!
