Assam down town University is proud to announce that Chureshwor Sanasam, a 5th-semester student of the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology programme, under the faculty of Commerce and Management, has won the prestigious bronze medal in the AHP India Culinary Challenge held at the Banarasidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management, Delhi, on July 5th, 2024.

Competing against gifted youngsters from all around India, including the north, south, and east, Chureshwor showed inventiveness and culinary skills. The award ceremony, held at the Air Force Auditorium in New Delhi, was a historic occasion in which he was recognised for his outstanding achievement. This challenge has helped him to push new boundaries in the culinary world, also giving him the opportunity to learn from fellow contestants and industry experts.
