As part of the "Angdaan Jan Jagruta Abhiyaan" campaign, Assam down town University hosted an influential awareness program on deceased organ donation on July 27, 2024, on campus, organised by the Zublee Foundation, Guwahati.

Prof (Dr)Manashi Sengupta, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, attended the event, as did faculty members and students from the fourth and fifth semesters of the B.Sc. Nursing programme. The event included engaging conversations, chances for students to register as organ donors, and educational sessions led by subject matter experts. Participants obtained a thorough understanding of the procedure involved in organ donation and how it might save lives. Such initiatives educate attendees and inspire many to consider becoming organ donors, reinforcing the university's commitment to fostering compassion and community service.
