Date- 12th Dec 2024

We are thrilled to announce that a team of six talented students from Assam down town University, along with their mentor, Mr. Siddhartha Adhyapok from the Faculty of Computer Technology, has made it to the final round of the prestigious AICTE Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024! The event will take place from December 11 to 15, 2024, at KLE Technological University, Hubbali, Karnataka.

Our team is one of only five Assamese teams selected from an incredible pool of 88,221 teams and 4,92,960 students across the nation. They will showcase their innovative project, "Heart Attack Alert System," developed for MIC-AICTE. This system is designed to detect heart attacks and send real-time SMS alerts with the user’s current location to emergency contacts, exemplifying the power of technology to save lives.

The team comprises six bright B.Tech 5th Semester CSE students: Rajesh Kumar Das, Pritamjyoti Chutia, Karan Bharadwaj, Manash Jyoti Sarma, Himangshu Haloi, and Preeti Kalita. Their hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking have brought them to this prestigious stage.

We are immensely proud of their achievement and wish them the very best as they represent Assam down town University in the finals. Let’s cheer them on as they continue to make us proud!
