Assam down town University successfully organized a workshop on "International Patient Safety", led by the Medical Surgical Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing, in collaboration with ANEI.

The event began with an introduction by Ms. Yumnam Chanu Superior, who presented the theme for the day, "International Patient Safety." Prof (Dr)Manashi Sengupta, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, emphasized different critical patient safety goals. Interactive activities, such as role plays on "Minimizing Hospital-Acquired Infections" and "Transfusion Safety," were conducted to engage students in real-life scenarios.

The active participation of students greatly contributed to the success of the event, enhancing their understanding of patient safety practices. The workshop increased awareness among students and equipped them with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to detect and reduce potential risks, prevent errors, and ensure patient well-being.
