Assam down town University, through its Directorate of Innovation, Startup, and Acceleration (DISA), in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and down town Venture Labs (dtVL), hosted an inspiring 'Entrepreneur's Talk' for the new batch of students from the Faculty of Commerce and Management and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The event featured Mr. Ranjit Baruah, the founder of Aromica Tea, a leading startup from Assam, who shared his entrepreneurial journey and insights with the students. Mr. Baruah gave advice on overcoming the difficulties of entrepreneurship while highlighting the numerous opportunities accessible to aspirant business owners. Through anecdotal evidence, he demonstrated how obstacles can be turned into chances to succeed in a cutthroat setting.
The session was quite interactive, with students actively participating and learning from a successful business owner who has had a big influence on the business environment in Northeast India and Assam.
