The Assam down town University Alumni Association, in collaboration with the programme of Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics, under Faculty of Sciences, organized an Alumni Interactive Session.
The event commenced with a warm introduction by Mr. Sonu Kumar, Apprentice at the Directorate of Alumni Affairs, and Ms. Niharika Talukdar, a BBA student. They welcomed the guest of honor, Ms. Mamta Singh, an alumnus of the Faculty of Sciences, Batch 2018-20, and currently a Senior Health Coach at Breathe Well-being, Gurgaon. The session was graced by the presence of Dr. Samannoy Baruah, Director of the Directorate of Alumni Affairs, Ms. Gouri Acharjee, Alumni Coordinator; and faculty members Dr. Radali Duarah, Dr. Jasmin Islam, and Dr. Daisy Sharma.
Dr. Samannoy Baruah gave the welcome remarks, expressing gratitude for Ms. Mamta Singh's involvement and setting the tone for an inspirational session. Ms. Singh discussed the increased demand for competent healthcare personnel, as well as emerging roles in dietetics as medical technology and client care systems evolve. She also considered her experiences and professional path since graduating from AdtU.
The event culminated with an entertaining Q&A part in which students discussed career advancement and industry trends. The program provided attendees with vital knowledge and motivation, making it a positive experience for everyone involved.
