Assam down town University Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, organized an enriching interactive session.

The event began with a warm introduction by Mr. Sonu Kumar, Apprentice of the Directorate of Alumni Affairs, who introduced the esteemed speaker, Mr. Joydeep Paul, an alumnus from the 2014-18 batch and now Business Officer (Northeastern region) at Zydus Healthcare Ltd. Dr. Samannoy Baruah, Director of Alumni Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saikat Sen Sen, Dean of Pharmaceutical Science, delivered their addresses and felicitated the guest.

In his presentation, Mr. Paul discussed the growing demand for qualified pharmaceutical workers in today's rapidly evolving healthcare industries. He discussed his own professional path in pharmaceutical marketing and emphasized new roles brought about by advancements in medical technology.

During the interactive Q&A session, students asked questions on career growth, industry dynamics, and pharmaceutical supply chain mechanics. The discussion was inspiring for everyone and provided insightful information about the direction that pharmaceutical science is going.
