Assam down town University organized an industrial visit for the MBA students of the Faculty of Commerce and Management to Dabur India Limited as an integral part of their academic curriculum.
Students of MBA 2nd Semester participated in the visit, accompanied by faculty members Mr. Rituparna Bhuyan and Mrs. Tridisa Bayan. Upon arrival at the Dabur manufacturing plant located at Balipara, Tezpur, the students were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Runali Das, HR Manager, who conducted an interactive session. She shared valuable insights into the organization’s culture, structure, various functional departments, as well as the quality and safety measures followed within the plant.
Following this, the Safety and Quality Officer conducted a dedicated session to familiarize the students with the stringent safety protocols and quality standards maintained during the manufacturing of food and FMCG products. The students were then taken on a guided tour of the manufacturing unit, where they were given a comprehensive overview of the entire production process from raw material utilization and processing to packaging and final distribution.
Such industrial visits play a crucial role in MBA education by offering hands-on exposure to real business environments, enabling students to effectively connect classroom learning with practical industry applications.
