The Physiotherapy students of Assam down town University recently visited Palon ReWalk, a leading residential neuro-rehabilitation centre and a pioneer in North East India. The visit offered valuable exposure to cutting-edge AI-driven neuro-rehabilitation technologies, including robotic exoskeleton therapy and EEG-based Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems.
A major highlight of the visit was the Exo-Robot India’s first indigenously developed exoskeleton, manufactured, designed, and tested at IIT Delhi by GenElek Technologies. This advanced innovation is exclusively available at Palon ReWalk for brain and spinal neuro-rehabilitation.
The students gained meaningful insights into multidisciplinary rehabilitation approaches that integrate robotics, AI-assisted therapies, and holistic, patient-centric care.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Rahul Baruah, Founder Member and Director of Palon ReWalk, for hosting the students and generously sharing his expertise and experience. A significant step forward in nurturing innovative, skilled, and compassionate future physiotherapists.
