As a result of our devotion and persistent efforts in the field of intellectual property rights, Assam down town University emerges as the winner of the prestigious 2nd IP Leadership Awards 2024, awarded by ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India).

We received the award in the prestigious category of Top 3 IP Educators of the Year, which brought together giants of industry to share priceless knowledge, model best practices, and create creative approaches. Mr. Pravin Anand, Chairperson of ASSOCHAM IPR Council, opened the summit proceedings with an ardent appeal for tough measures against global counterfeiting operations and recommended regulatory changes, emphasizing the critical need to strengthen IP protection.

Ms. Himani Pande, Additional Secretary at the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, emphasised the critical importance of recognising individuals and organisations that work tirelessly to advance India's intellectual property landscape.
