Date- 05th Aug 2025

Assam down town University is proud to share that fifteen of our students actively participated in the second day of the prestigious Summer Programme at Silpakorn University International College, Bangkok, Thailand.

The day's focus was on exploring Thai cultural heritage and the significance of aromatic plants in Thai society. Led by Dr. Jasmin Islam, this immersive learning experience offered students a deep dive into Thailand’s rich traditions, history, and the role aromatic plants have played in everyday life and wellness practices.

As part of the session, students engaged in traditional Thai activities, including a flower arrangement workshop, which beautifully blended hands-on learning with cultural appreciation. The day also featured engaging discussions on cross-cultural exchange and the urgent need to preserve traditional knowledge systems in a rapidly modernizing global landscape.

This unforgettable experience not only broadened our students’ global perspective but also strengthened their understanding of cultural sustainability and heritage preservation.
