Assam down town University to Host State-Level Workshop on National Digital Library in Collaboration with IIT Kharagpur

In a significant step towards advancing digital education and fostering a culture of accessible academic resources, Assam down town University is set to organize a One-Day State-Level Workshop on the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and NDLI Club in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur, the nodal institution managing NDLI under the National Mission on Education through ICT, Ministry of Education, Government of India. 

This initiative aims to raise awareness about the structure, features, and academic value of NDLI, while offering hands-on training to empower faculty, research scholars, students, and library professionals in leveraging the platform for teaching, learning, and research. Special focus will be given to promoting active participation in NDLI Clubs and encouraging institutional collaboration. Eminent experts from NDLI and IIT Kharagpur will conduct technical sessions, ensuring an insightful and practical learning experience. 

This workshop marks an important stride in Assam down town University’s ongoing efforts to blend traditional academic rigor with cutting-edge digital tools, reaffirming its commitment to educational innovation.
