Assam down town University proudly congratulates Cdt Sgt Sandeep Kar, a student of B.Sc. Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, on the successful completion of the Air Force Attachment Camp held at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Hyderabad.

He represented the North Eastern Region (NER) Directorate as the sole cadet from Assam under the 50 Assam Air Squadron (Flying) NCC, among only three cadets selected from the entire region, one each from Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur.

During the 13-day intensive training, he participated in sessions on SSB training and screening tests, gaining first-hand experience at the Air Force Stations of Hakimpet and Begumpet. He had the opportunity to witness various training aircrafts like Kiran MK II, Pilatus PC-7 MK II, helicopters like Cheetak, and even got cockpit experience in the Avro 784 aircraft.

He also visited the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Radar Control Towers, where he observed how aircraft communication and coordination is maintained during takeoff and landing, an invaluable exposure to real-time air operations.

His commitment, discipline, and passion reflect his strong leadership qualities and the true spirit of NCC.
