I on behalf of the Editorial Board of the Annals of Multidisciplinary Research, Innovation and Technology (AMRIT), a new multidisciplinary journal, express pride in presenting the first issue of the journal with utmost sincerity. Setting in motion this new journal has been possible only due to contributions from the Editorial Board members and support from Assam down town University Authority.
Research, innovation, and technology output generation happening at a very fast pace globally and relatively less developed regions like the northeastern part of India are also accelerating in this front with a large number of universities/institutions of higher learning in place during the last decade. It was felt that scientific journals to cater to the publishing need of the scientific/intellectual manpower of these institutions are not an inadequate number.
The focus and scope of the journal were kept wide open in order to build a feasible and easy to reach communication medium for the scientific community, researcher, and academia involved in research, innovation, and technology generation. Annals of Multidisciplinary Research, Innovation and Technology (AMRIT) aims to provide a common platform for researchers to promptly share their novel results and latest developments in the area of but not limited to Physical Science, Life Science and Chemical Science, Engineering and Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Science, Paramedical Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Instrumentation and Methodology, Commerce, Business Management, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The publication is a broadly based peer-reviewed multidisciplinary biannual free open access journal focused on the publication of original articles that contribute significantly to knowledge. The Editorial Board also strives for ensuring submission from eminent scholars for publication through peer review along with those of voluntary submission in the initial issues. The inaugural issue features six scientific papers, two long and two mini-reviews, and a few reports. The first issue also presents three opinions/ commentary in health sciences.
We have sincerely emphasized mobilizing and encouraging researchers from Universities and Institutes and getting quality submissions for publications within the shortest possible time frame. We hope the readers enjoy the first issue of Annals of Multidisciplinary Research, Innovation and Technology (AMRIT) and look forward to receiving wider support and cooperation from everybody in our endeavor.

Sincerely,
DHARMESWAR DAS
Editor-in-Chief.
