A mesmerizing live performance cum workshop on Oja Pali, organized by AdtU's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, brought Assam's vivid cultural history to life.

Led by the renowned Padma Shri Sjt. Drona Bhuyan and his amazing team, the event celebrated the subtle beauty of Oja Pali, including the fascinating Sukanani and Beha Gowa Oja Pali, as well as a soul-stirring Deodhani performance by two young female members dressed in traditional clothing. Prof. Bandana Dutta, Dean of Studies at AdtU, greeted the audience heartily, while Padma Shri Sri Jatin Goswami and Sri Ramen Choudhury delivered incisive presentations as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively.

Sri Bhuyan, grateful for the opportunity provided by AdtU, interacted with excited students, addressing their questions and improving their awareness of Oja Pali and its performance intricacies.

This event not only recognized Assam's rich musical legacy but also promoted an enriching exchange between performers and the audience, ensuring that this cultural treasure is preserved and appreciated for future generations.
