Assam down town University (AdtU) was established in 2010 with the aim of fostering global collaborations and expanding international opportunities for students and faculty members. While the University was set up in 2010, the university's international activities gained momentum in 2020, marking a significant milestone in its global engagement. Since its inception, the directorate has played a pivotal role in promoting international engagement, and from 2020, AdtU's international activities have gained significant momentum.
AdtU has formed partnerships with over 50 esteemed international institutions, enabling fruitful collaborations across various domains. These partnerships have paved the way for a range of collaborative initiatives, including faculty exchange programs, which facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and teaching practices between AdtU and its international partners. Through faculty and student exchange programs, cultural exchanges, joint research programs, seminars, and other academic activities, AdtU creates a vibrant international environment that prepares its community to thrive in a globally interconnected world
