Assam down town University (AdtU) was established in 2010 with the aim of fostering global collaborations and expanding international opportunities for students and faculty members. While the University was set up in 2010, the university's international activities gained momentum in 2020, marking a significant milestone in its global engagement. Since its inception, the directorate has played a pivotal role in promoting international engagement, and from 2020, AdtU's international activities have gained significant momentum.

AdtU has formed partnerships with over 50 esteemed international institutions, enabling fruitful collaborations across various domains. These partnerships have paved the way for a range of collaborative initiatives, including faculty exchange programs, which facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and teaching practices between AdtU and its international partners. Through faculty and student exchange programs, cultural exchanges, joint research programs, seminars, and other academic activities, AdtU creates a vibrant international environment that prepares its community to thrive in a globally interconnected world

The Directorate of International Affairs serves as a facilitator, ensuring seamless coordination and implementation of international initiatives. It actively promotes internationalization efforts within AdtU, encouraging students and faculty members to engage in global activities and harness the benefits of a well-rounded global education.

Welcome to Assam down town University!

I am honored to welcome you all to the AdtU family. It’s my pleasure and privilege to serve as the Director of Directorate of International Affairs, AdtU not only because it’s my passion but also, I enjoy the company of my dearly loved students and talented Faculties who keep me motivated. The office of Directorate of International Affairs provides administrative service, professional support and advising services to international students, scholars, and guests at Assam down town University regarding the life, education, sport, culture, and many other activities at AdtU.

Our goal is to help the international students, scholars, and other faculty members and staff, to navigate many complexities associated with student within the AdtU community. We are committed to provide the students and guests with accurate information and the highest quality of service, taking into account institutional policies and ever-changing federal regulations.

We at AdtU tend to nurture and build up young minds, in accordance with one’s knack and aptitude. AdtU aims at nurturing the underlying qualities, bringing to surface the genius in them.The University has a vast international outreach and several partnerships are running concurrently. We have been instrumental in providing global exposure to our students spanning several countries. We regularly host our partners and have a well-entrenched exchange programme embedded into our ethos. We never believe in resting on our laurels and have moved from strength to strength. We are poignantly alive to our university responsibility and take it very seriously. The University is the ultimate heaven and provide the right ingredients, tools and environment for grooming our upcoming generation to take their rightful place under the sun.
