An awareness program on substance abuse prevention was organized based on a request from the school authorities of neighbouring Chandrapur area. Posters displaying the message “SAY NO TO DRUGS” were presented and explained to the students. A skit was performed by the students, followed by a discussion on the harmful effects of drugs.
This initiative aimed to educate children about the dangers of substance abuse, encourage informed decision-making, and promote a healthier lifestyle. Such programs are vital in preventing addiction, which can have severe long-term impacts on physical, mental, and social well-being.
Raising awareness about substance abuse requires a collective effort involving schools, parents, communities, and children. By equipping children with knowledge, coping strategies, and support systems, these programs empower them to make positive choices and avoid the risks of substance abuse. Initiatives like these are essential for building healthier and more resilient future generations.
