The Assam down town University (AdtU) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have mutually agreed to sign an MoU to open one new B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering & Business Systems program on the Assam down town University premises. This is the first kind of program in the entire North East in collaboration with TCS.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Assam down town University (AdtU) have launched a new BTech CSE&BS program to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science, humanities, management sciences, and human values on April 9th, 2024, in the presence of Dr. K M Suceendran, Techno HR Leader, Digital Evangelist, Life Long Learner, and Head of Academic Alliances at TCS. This initiative marks TCS’s first project in the Northeast. The partnership aims to bridge the digital divide by offering students the skills and knowledge needed to work in the rapidly evolving tech industry.

B.Tech CSE with TCS is intricately crafted, offering students an in-depth understanding of computer science and engineering and business systems. The curriculum includes specialized training in core computer science technologies, encompassing Al, machine learning, and deep learning. Balancing theoretical foundations with practical proficiency, the program readies students for thriving careers in the dynamic IT sector. Core subjects span software development, database management, and system analysis, with seamless integration of cutting- edge new technologies, notably in data science, Al, and deep learning. Practical exposure to practical tools ensures students are well-prepared for evolving IT challenges. This program's curriculum achieves a well-balanced integration of core computing, business processes, and a diverse range of elective courses. It places a strong emphasis on fostering continuous self-learning among students.
