The placement process is a pivotal component of a University’s mission to prepare students for successful and fulfilling careers. It involves a systematic approach to connect students with potential employers, facilitating a smooth transition from academia to the professional world.

• Students database is prepared by collecting details from individual students.
• From each course a student placement coordinator and a faculty placement coordinator are nominated by the respective Deans to coordinate with Directorate of Career Advancement for smooth functioning of the placement drives.
• A Career Aspiration Form is distributed to students to understand student’s career aspirations.
• Soft skills and aptitude trainings are arranged for the students to make them placement ready.
• The Directorate of Career Advancement establishes and maintains relationships with a diverse range of companies across various industries. This involves networking with industry professionals, inviting companies for campus recruitment, and staying informed about industry trends and requirements.
• Once we receive the requirement from any organisation via email, a notification is circulated among the students of relevant departments.
• Based on the companies schedule and our placement calendar, a campus drive date is arranged at a mutually convenient time. Post the campus drive date is decided all travel and accommodation arrangements. Companies visit the university campus to conduct recruitment drives. These can include various rounds such as written tests, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR interviews. The format may vary based on the industry and job roles.
• Students participate in interviews and assessments conducted by the recruiting companies. This is an opportunity for employers to evaluate candidates & technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for the roles.
• Successful candidates receive job offers, and they may have a specified period to accept or decline the offers. The Directorate of Career Advancement facilitates communication between students and companies during this process.
• The Directorate of Career Advancement offers post-placement support to ensure a smooth transition for students into their new roles.

The internship process is a vital component of a student's academic journey, offering a structured and hands-on learning experience within a professional environment. Internships provide numerous benefits, making them an essential aspect of education.

• The Directorate of Career Advancement collaborates with companies, organizations, and industry partners to identify potential internship opportunities.
• The students are encouraged to arrange internship opportunities by connecting the organizations of their interests. After selection, the students have to collect a confirmation letter from the organization.
• The students have to write an application to the Directorate of Career Advancement through their concerned department attaching all the required documents, such as all semester mark sheets, confirmation document etc.
• The examination department reviews and verifies the student documents to ensure they meet the necessary criteria.
• After the verification, the documents are then submitted to Directorate of Career Advancement for issuing the internship letter.
• Students embark on their internship during a specified period, typically during semester breaks or as part of their course curriculum. The duration may vary based on the academic requirements and the hosting organization's preferences.
• After completion the student need to connect to the respective department and Examination Cell for further process.

• A job fair is a structured event where employers and job seekers come together for networking, recruitment, and exploration of career opportunities. Companies from various industries participate in job fairs to showcase their organization and job openings. This provides them with an efficient platform to connect with potential candidates and promote their employer brand.
• The job fair is open to everyone, providing unemployed youth in the community with an opportunity to secure employment. The Directorate of Career Advancement takes the lead in planning the job fair. This involves selecting a suitable date, securing a venue, and inviting a diverse range of companies across various industries.
• A circular is issued to all Faculty of Studies, Alumni Cell and Marketing Department for initiating participation AdtU Students, Alumni & Non AdtU Students.
• The university promotes the job fair to its present students, alumni and non AdtU students. This includes advertising through campus channels, social media, university websites, print media, digital media etc. for clear communication about the participating companies and the event schedule is provided.
• The university reaches out to companies, inviting them to participate in the job fair. This involve sending formal invitations, providing details about the event, and explaining the benefits of connecting with the university's talented pool of our present students, alumni and non AdtU students.
• A circular of request is sent to all the educational institutions inviting their students and alumni to participate in the event.
• All Students and alumni interested in attending the job fair register for the event. This registration helps organizers manage the flow of participants, gather demographic information, and plan for any additional logistics. An Admit card is issued by the university post registration to both internal and external participants.
• The Directorate of Career Advancement sets us booths, tables for the participating companies to showcase their organizations. The Directorate of Career Advancement sets general guidelines for the students and companies for smooth functioning of the job fair.
• Students and alumni have the opportunity to explore the different company booths, ask questions, and network with company representatives. This is a chance for both parties to assess mutual interests and potential fits.
• After the job fair, Directorate of Career Advancement facilitate follow-up activities, such as providing contact information for participating companies, collecting feedback from both employers, collecting the list of shortlisted candidates from the participating organizations.
• Shortlisted candidates are informed via email or phone.

• A general counseling assessments is conducted to understand students' strengths, interests, personality traits, and career aspirations. This initial step helps in identifying potential career paths that align with their profiles.
• An assessment is conducted for students who are nominated by the deans to conduct 1 to 1 Career Counselling Session. Based on the assessment, clear career goals are established in collaboration with the students. This step involves discussing short-term and long-term career objectives and outlining steps to achieve them.
• We provide information on various career options, industries, and emerging fields. Students are exposed to diverse opportunities through seminars, workshops, and interactions with industry experts.
• Our counselors assist students in evaluating pros and cons of different career paths and making informed decisions. Factors such as job prospects, growth opportunities, and personal interests are considered during this phase.
• A personalized career development plan is formulated, outlining actionable steps towards achieving career goals. This plan may include further education, skill development, networking strategies, and gaining relevant experience through internships.
• Continuous support is provided throughout the career development process. Counselors offer guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, and networking. Follow-up sessions help students stay on track and adapt their plans as needed.
• Periodic evaluation helps assess progress towards career goals and make necessary adjustments. Feedback from internships or job applications is used to refine career strategies and enhance employability.

The competitive exam preparation process at the Directorate of Career Advancement is tailored to ensure students are thoroughly prepared for a range of competitive exams, including government exams like APSC, UPSC, SSC, UGC NET, SLET, banking exams, as well as CAT (Common Admission Test) for MBA admissions and GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for postgraduate studies in engineering and technology. Here's a comprehensive outline of our approach:

• We begin by assessing each student's current knowledge, skills, and exam readiness through diagnostic assessment and discussions. Clear goals are set based on the specific exam they are preparing for, whether it's a government job, MBA entrance, or engineering admissions through GATE.
• MOU tie ups are done with various organizations such as T.I.M.E, SPM Academy, Career Launcher, Competitive Care etc. who provides study plan which is crafted for student, considering their strengths, weaknesses, and the exam syllabus. This plan outlines the topics to be covered, study materials needed, and a timeline for preparation.
• Students have access to a wide range of comprehensive study materials, including textbooks, practice questions, previous years' papers, and online resources. These resources are curated to cover all aspects of the exam syllabus and to provide ample practice.
• Experienced faculty members conduct specialized coaching sessions tailored to the requirements of each exam. They provide in-depth explanations of concepts, problem-solving strategies, and tips on effective time management during exams.
• Regular mock tests are conducted under exam-like conditions to simulate the actual test environment. These tests help students familiarize themselves with the exam pattern, improve their speed and accuracy, and identify areas that need further improvement.
