Master in Sociology comprises of four semesters with papers introducing them to the domain of sociology. The programme has been developed with an objective to enlighten the students towards the understanding of social reality. The sociology programme in particular aimed at identifying and addressing society's needs and issues related to oppression, cultural diversity along with social and economic justice. One of the distinctive aspects of this programme is an internship paper and dissertation. The course will provide the opportunity to understand the different perspectives of the society globally and in the context of India and North-East India as well.
