1. Apply the knowledge in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities. 2. Provide nursing care based on steps of nursing process in collaboration with the other health care team members. 3. Provide promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of nursing care. 4. Demonstrate critical thinking skills in making decisions in all situations in any setting. 5. Practice nursing within the framework of code of ethics and professional standard of conduct. 6. Communicate effectively with individuals and groups and other health team members
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 10 class pass (45%)
AGE: Minimum 15 years
Maximum 35 years
After completing ANM course and getting registered with a State Nurse Registration Council, they are easily absorbed in both government and private sectors. They can work as a Home Nurse, Health Visitor & Community Health Worker. They can also opt for higher studies or pursuing career in the related field. one may pursue GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course. On completion of GNM, one may go for B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic). This course will lead one to a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
