The Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme has been established with the goal of producing highly skilled information system professionals in the rapidly growing field of Computer Science and its applications. Due to its enormous utility, the World Wide Web has emerged as a crucial component of the Internet. Consequently, this course also emphasises on the fundamental ideas of website design.
This course focuses on the fundamental of algorithm, data structures, and problem-solving techniques. Students will learn how to design, analyze, and implement algorithms to solve a variety of computational problems.
Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design is the first of a series of seven courses that will equip you with the skills needed to apply to entry-level jobs in user experience design. UX designers focus on the interactions that people have with products like websites, mobile apps, and physical objects. UX designers make those everyday interactions usable, enjoyable, and accessible. The role of an entry-level UX designer might include empathizing with users, defining their pain points, coming up with ideas for design solutions, creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups, and testing designs to get feedback. Current UX designers and researchers at Google will serve as your instructors, and you will complete hands-on activities that simulate real-world UX design scenarios.

The course will give students hands-on experience in developing interesting Android applications. No previous experience in programming is needed, and the course is suitable for students with any level of computing experience. MIT App Inventor will be used in the course. It is a blocks-based programming tool that allows everyone, even novices, to start programming and build fully functional apps for Android devices. Students are encouraged to use their own Android devices for hands-on testing and exploitation.
This course introduces to a variety of algorithms, approaches to algorithm design, and how they are effectively applied to solve problems in computer science.
