Presently, FPS AdtU offers M. Pharm programmes in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. These programmes were established to fulfil the need for specialized knowledge in the NER region and to encourage graduates to continue their higher studies. A key objective of offering the M. Course designed to impart advanced knowledge and skills required to learn the concept of generic drug and their development, various regulatory filings in different countries, different phases of clinical trials and submitting regulatory documents : filing process of IND, NDA and ANDA

The subject imparts a fundamental knowledge on the structure and functions of cellular components and help to understand the interaction of these components with drugs. This information will further help the student to apply the knowledge. in drug discovery process.

  • The students will understand the basic concept of structure and functions of cellular components, concept of genome, gene expression, cell cycle and cell death process. This would allow them to put their knowledge to use in the drug development process.

It will teach the students in developing drug safety data in Pre-clinical, Clinical phases of Drug development and post market surveillance.
