Published and presented over 30 research works—including 11 single-authored journal papers, 8 co-authored papers/policy documents, 16 international conference presentations, 4 degree theses, and a textbook on reading comprehension—focusing primarily on English language pedagogy, vocabulary acquisition, human rights advocacy, inclusive education, and workplace diversity.
The most acclaimed and cited research publication is "Digital Tools in Language Learning: Their Effectiveness, Impact and Challenges" (published via the National Centre for Advanced Studies), built upon the foundation of his flagship doctoral research, "Vocabulary Learning Strategies of Engineering Students" (University of Kelaniya). Beyond his individual publications, he has directly shaped national education policy through his co-authored policy paper, "New Vistas in Education Policy in English Language Teacher Education," prepared for the National Education Commission.
