Diploma in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology is a skill based 2 years course in Allied and Healthcare Sciences that deals with Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology to diagnose various diseases in patients. The course is created for students to obtain knowledge about Radiation Physics, X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound, CT scan, Darkroom Techniques, etc. this helps the student to develop a career in diagnostic laboratory. After the completion of this Two years course, it is mandatory to undergo Internship for a period of three Months.

To prepare students to succeed in employment/profession and/or to pursue graduation in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology.
To impart knowledge of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology required for diagnosis of various ailments.
To provide student with an academic environment that fosters excellence, transparency, leadership and promote awareness of life-long learning.

Knowledge and Skill: Apply the knowledge of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology for the solutions to the problems in various diagnostic domains particularly for health care industries/hospitals.
Problem Analysis: Identify and analyze problems related to various medical imaging domains of clinically relevant procedure of the patients and quality of the images.
Modern Techniques Usage: Use latest technique and tools to carry out scientific investigations that helps in diagnosis and treatment.
Ethics and Radiation Protection: Exhibit professional responsibility and safety standards in conducting standardized radiological procedures within the realm of ethical guidelines and radiation safety boards.
Lifelong Learning: Promote regular training and follow quality protocols for the development of professionalism throughout the life.

Demonstrate the knowledge of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology to apply in diagnosis and prognosis of various clinical conditions.
The students will be able to learn the use of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology.
The students will be capable of providing quality reports to be analysed by medical radiologist. The students will be able to handle patients undergoing imaging process.
