Assam down town University organized a Workshop on Government Schemes and Startup Funding, organized by Young Indians. 

The session was led by Dr.Samir Baruah, Financial Doctor, Key Mentor, Motivational Speaker, Social Entrepreneur, Researcher & Micro Sector Analyst, which aimed to create awareness among students about the various government schemes available for startups and aspiring entrepreneurs. During the session, the resource person provided a comprehensive overview of the different support systems and initiatives introduced by the government to encourage entrepreneurship.

Students gained valuable insights into funding opportunities and financial assistance programs, helping them understand the practical avenues available for securing support for their entrepreneurial ideas. The session also guided participants through the process of applying for these schemes and effectively availing their benefits, making the information more accessible and actionable.

In addition, the discussion highlighted key aspects of startup planning and financial resource management, enabling students to understand how to strategically plan and sustain their ventures. Overall, the workshop motivated students to confidently explore entrepreneurship, while making use of the various government-backed opportunities and support mechanisms available to emerging startups.
