Workshop on Digital Agriculture Inspires Innovative Solutions to Real-World Farming Challenges

Assam down town University, through the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Technology, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council – Directorate of Innovation, Startup & Acceleration, organised a workshop on “Digital Agriculture: Building Prototypes and MVPs for Real-World Farming Challenges”.

The workshop introduced students, researchers and faculty members to the growing field of Digital Agriculture and explored how technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, sensors, data analytics, automation and digital platforms can address real-world challenges faced by farmers.

With a focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, prototyping and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), the session encouraged participants to think beyond ideas and develop practical, technology-driven solutions for more productive, sustainable and efficient farming.

The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion on future possibilities in agricultural innovation, equipping participants with a more practical and innovation-oriented approach to solving real-world farming challenges.
