Assam down town University also celebrated the beauty of indigenous art during Virasat Anubhav 2026 by the SPIC MACAY AdtU Chapter through a vibrant Warli Painting workshop conducted by renowned artist Shri Chandrakanta Gaju Mahala. Students explored the traditional techniques and storytelling elements of Warli art, learning how simple patterns and figures reflect everyday life and cultural heritage. The final exhibition showcased the participants’ artworks, turning the space into a colorful tribute to one of India’s most cherished tribal art forms.
