Two-Day Training Equips Participants with CPR, Bleeding Control, and Emergency Response Techniques

Assam down town University organised the workshop “Caring for the Carers: Hands that Heal – Essential Life-Saving Techniques” to equip participants with practical knowledge and critical skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies. 

Designed to build confidence and competence, the workshop focused on essential life-saving measures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), bleeding control, fracture management, airway clearance, and handling medical emergencies before professional assistance arrives. Through interactive demonstrations, hands-on practice, and real-life scenarios, the program emphasized the importance of timely intervention and the vital role of first responders. 

The two-day offline workshop, was conducted by the Faculty of Paramedical Sciences with expert guidance from resource persons Mr. Bharat Bhushan and Mr. Manoj Patnayak, engaging 150 student participants and empowering them with skills that can truly save lives.
