Assam down town University organised a two-day SAP Industry Interaction Session, bringing together students from the MBA, BBA and Engineering programmes for meaningful exposure to SAP and digital transformation. 

The sessions were conducted by Mr Balaji S, an SAP leader and digital transformation executive with more than 36 years of global experience across APAC, the Middle East, Europe and North America, with expertise in SAP-led transformation programmes, global delivery, S/4HANA initiatives, cloud and analytics engagements, programme turnaround and talent development.

The first day featured separate sessions for 40 MBA students and 120 BBA students, followed by a dedicated interaction with 160 Engineering students. The sessions focused on SAP and digital transformation, offering students practical insights into enterprise systems, the scope of SAP technologies, digital capabilities and the skills required in technology-enabled organisations.

The interaction provided students with direct industry exposure and a clearer understanding of SAP-enabled digital transformation and related career opportunities, while strengthening Assam down town University’s efforts to connect academic learning with contemporary industry practice.
