Assam down town University proudly hosted an inspiring and thought-provoking event titled “Turning Ideas into Action: Steps in Entrepreneurship”, organized by the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) , Directorate of Innovation, Start-up and Acceleration (DISA) in collaboration with the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, which brought together students, faculty, and professionals to explore the dynamic intersection of physiotherapy and entrepreneurship.

The highlight of the session was the guest lecture by Mr. Shubhojyoti Roy, Founder and CEO of Lone Tree Consultants Pvt. Ltd., who shared his entrepreneurial journey, offering insights into the challenges and triumphs of building a start-up from the ground up. His emphasis on innovation, adaptability, and strategic planning deeply resonated with the audience, especially aspiring physiotherapy entrepreneurs. The event was further enriched by Dr. Abhijit Kalita (PT), Associate Dean (i/c), FPAR, who shared his perspectives on fostering innovation within the physiotherapy domain.
