Assam down town University organised the event “Enhancing Research Productivity through J-Gate”, conducted by the HNDB Central Library, AdtU. 

The session was led by Mr. Mahendranath Sarkar, Training Manager, J-Gate (R&D), Informatics Publishing Ltd, whose expertise plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between access to scholarly literature and meaningful research productivity. Through his detailed training, Mr. Sarkar guided participants on navigating vast repositories of journals using J-Gate and, more importantly, on using these resources strategically to improve the quality of literature reviews, make informed publication decisions, and adopt responsible citation practices. His insights empowered the research community to convert access into actionable academic outcomes.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rubi Goswami, Librarian, AdtU, acknowledging the value of the session in strengthening the institution’s research culture.
