Dr. Saikat Sen, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, kicked off the ceremony with an opening statement that highlighted the many IPA activities and recognized the 45 AdtU students who had joined IPA. Prof. NC Talukdar, Honorable Vice Chancellor of AdtU, complimented the students for their dedication to forming the Student Chapter and stressed the importance of pharmacy professionals in promoting healthy lifestyles. Ms. Priyashmita Borah, East Divisional Head of IPA-SF NEC 2024, presented several IPA-SF projects, which culminated in the oath-taking ceremony for the Student Chapter Council members. Prof. Bibhuti B. Kakoti of Dibrugarh University and Mrs. Mahua Bhowmik Singha, Secretary of the IPA Guwahati Branch, were overjoyed that the Student Chapter had been established at AdtU.
