The 4th National Conference on "Forensic Nursing-Clinical Significance and Practice Opportunities," organised by Faculty of Nursing, Assam down town University, gathered 95 participants from diverse institutions across the country.
(Prof). Dr. Kaveri Saikia, Principal of the School of Nursing at Royal Global University and appointed CNE observer by the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council, oversaw the proceedings. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the inaugural lamp by esteemed dignitaries, followed by the unveiling of the conference theme by Prof (Dr)Manashi Sengupta, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at AdtU. Dignitaries were honored with saplings, and the third edition of the newsletter was launched to mark the occasion. Preceding scientific sessions, participants engaged in a pre-test evaluation, setting the stage for discussions led by experts such as Dr. Oli Goswami, Assistant Professor, Department of Forensic Medicine, PA Sangma International Medical College and Hospital Techno City, talked on the sub-theme "Forensic Science- an overview; Significance in Healthcare "
