Assam down town University excelled at AATITHYA 2025, an international hospitality event hosted by Jaipur National University, School of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, where a team of six talented students from the Discipline of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management made a remarkable impact. 

Competing against universities from across India and Sri Lanka, the students showcased their expertise across multiple competitions. Demonstrating exceptional talent, they secured prestigious awards: Chureshwor Sanasam and Rajshree Longjam won the Silver Trophy (2nd Place) in Lazzat-e-Khaas (Culinary Competition), Olivia Marbaniang and Dhitriraj Gohain bagged the Gold Trophy (1st Place) in Décor de Patisserie (Bakery Decoration Competition), Chureshwar Sanasam and Nirmal Ranjeet Karna secured the Silver Trophy (2nd Place) in Quizzeria (Quiz Competition), and Sudan Subedi and Dhitriraj Gohain clinched the Silver Trophy (2nd Place) in Hotelpreneurs – The Ultimate Pitch Battle. 

Their stellar performances reflect their dedication, creativity, and expertise in the hospitality industry, reinforcing Assam down town University’s commitment to nurturing future hospitality leaders.
