





The InnoVision2026 – Innovation Showcase Competition was successfully organized on the occasion of National Science Day at Assam down town University. The event aimed to foster hashtag#creativity, hashtag#innovation and hashtag#entrepreneurial thinking among students by providing a vibrant platform for young innovators to present groundbreaking ideas and technological solutions addressing real-world challenges.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various academic programmes. Various teams (individuals and groups) showcased innovative projects across diverse domains, including sustainable development, health and nutrition, artificial intelligence, green technology, smart agriculture, and social entrepreneurship. Participants demonstrated remarkable creativity, strong research aptitude, and the practical application of academic knowledge.
The judging panel comprised distinguished experts, including Subhas Bhattacharjee, Advisor at Patanjali Foods Ltd and former Managing Director of NERAMAC Ltd, Government of India, along with Prof. Robin Gogoi. Their insightful evaluation and constructive feedback significantly enriched the participants’ learning experience.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the top three teams were awarded cash prizes totaling Rs.10,000 along with certificates of excellence. The first prize was secured by Arindam Chakraborty from the Faculty of Computer Technology, the second prize by Gopin Sora from the Faculty of Commerce and Management, and the third prize by Tridisha Borah from the Faculty of Science.
The event was successfully organized by the Faculty of Science in association with the Institution Innovation Council and was coordinated by Dr. Jasmin Islam, Dr. Dr. Daisy Sharma, and Dr. Dr. Yashmin Nongrum Nongrum, members of the Institution Innovation Council from the Faculty of Science.
