Assam down town University conducted the AdtU Students Innovation Grant Cheque Distribution Ceremony to recognize and support the university’s emerging student innovators. Prof. (Dr.) Prof. Sunandan Baruah, Director, DISA, delivered the welcome address, appreciating the creativity and dedication of the eight selected student teams. Dr. Manash J Borah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, also graced the event and encouraged students to continue developing impactful and future-ready ideas. The Innovation Grant cheques amounting to Rs. 186,497 were formally handed over to the recipients, reinforcing the university’s commitment to nurturing a culture of innovation and problem-solving.

The ceremony provided financial support and institutional recognition to student innovators, motivating them to advance their projects further. It strengthened the innovation ecosystem on campus, enhanced engagement with DISA initiatives, and inspired wider student participation in future innovation-driven programs.
