Assam down town University successfully organized a field-visit-based learning program, where students from Computer Science and Engineering (B.Tech) and Computer Applications (BCA & MCA) under the Faculty of Computer Technology were given hands-on exposure at the AMTRON Campus, IT Park, Guwahati. 

The visit offered valuable learning opportunities at the 5G Experience Center and 3D Printing Lab, where students observed 3D structure production, explored manufacturing techniques, and gained real-time knowledge of 5G communication processes.

The program was efficiently coordinated by DR. TASHER ALI SHEIKH, Manabjyoti Choudhary, Diganta Sahu, Zahid Sikder, and Priyo Raj, ensuring a seamless and impactful learning experience. The interaction with the AMTRON team, led by Manager Mr. Prashant Sharma, further enhanced students’ understanding of 3D product development, market challenges, real-time 5G communication systems, and emerging opportunities in next-generation technologies. 

This visit significantly strengthened students’ practical expertise, implementation skills, and industry-oriented competencies, preparing them for the future of advanced communication and manufacturing technologies.
