



Assam down town University marked a memorable beginning to the immersion program at the British University Vietnam (BUV) with a highly engaging and productive first day.
The participants received a warm welcome and attended an orientation session that offered valuable insights into BUV’s history, Vietnamese culture, and its UK-accredited education system. The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Christopher Jeffery, delivered an informative session on Vietnam’s education system, enriching the learning experience.
The day also featured interactive activities, including learning basic Vietnamese phrases and engaging in traditional face mask painting, which encouraged cultural exchange among students. A guided campus tour allowed participants to explore BUV’s modern facilities, followed by a visit to a pottery village where they experienced hands-on crafting of pottery.
The day concluded with meaningful interactions with BUV students, making it a culturally enriching and memorable experience.
