Assam down town University successfully conducted the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 Internal Hackathon, bringing together around 40 student teams with innovative ideas and technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of the Dean, Faculty of Computer Technology (FoCT), Associate Dean, Programme Heads and esteemed faculty members, whose encouragement inspired the participating teams.

The hackathon gave students an opportunity to think innovatively, apply technical knowledge, collaborate as teams, and transform ideas into practical solutions, while experiencing the spirit of the Smart India Hackathon.

A special appreciation to all the students, mentors, evaluators, faculty members and organising team for their dedication in making the event a success. Special thanks to SPOC Dr. Prasenjit Kr. Das for coordinating and facilitating the Internal Hackathon.
