Assam down town University successfully organized the Skill Enhancement Course “Survey Camp 2025” under the Faculty of Engineering for the 3rd semester Civil Engineering students. 

The three-day field training program offered valuable hands-on exposure to land surveying techniques, enabling students to apply classroom learning to practical environments. Throughout the camp, students actively carried out Compass and Chain Survey for detailed map preparation, followed by Profile and Cross-sectional Levelling, Contouring, and Reciprocal Levelling tasks. These real-world exercises strengthened their understanding of precision in measurement, teamwork, and the interpretation of survey data.

The Survey Camp played a crucial role in sharpening students’ technical abilities, boosting their confidence, and preparing them for future professional responsibilities, marking an important milestone in their journey toward becoming skilled and industry-ready civil engineers.
