Assam down town University is delighted to host six students from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS), Malaysia, who have arrived on our campus as part of a week-long Cultural Immersion Program. This initiative marks a significant step in fostering global learning, cultural understanding, and academic collaboration between the two institutions.

The first day of their journey in India began with a warm welcome and a hearty breakfast, giving our guests a comforting introduction to Assamese hospitality. The morning continued with two immersive language learning sessions focused on Hindi and Assamese, led by Dr. Santosh Kumar Upadhyay and Dr. Shilpisudha Goswami, respectively. 

Through such culturally rooted activities, the program aims to help the visiting students gain a deeper appreciation of Assam’s heritage, lifestyle, traditions, and academic environment. We look forward to the coming days filled with learning, exchange, and memorable experiences that will strengthen the bond between AdtU and UTP.
